As San Diego County Treasurer, Larry Cohen has played a key role in strengthening the county’s financial foundation, ensuring that public funds are managed responsibly and directed where they matter most. Under his leadership, critical resources have been allocated to support parks, infrastructure, and essential public services that directly improve quality of life for thousands of San Diegans.

Larry previously served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Congressman Juan Vargas, where he was instrumental in managing complex operations, advancing policy priorities, and delivering results for constituents across the region.
